At Pinnacle Facade Care, safety is not a guideline—it is the foundation of our entire operational existence. We operate under strict global IRATA codes of practice.
High-rise facade maintenance presents unique hazards. To eliminate risk, we employ the **IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association)** system—globally recognized as the safest method for working at heights. Through meticulous gear selection, daily audits, double-redundant suspension systems, and intensive rescue training, we hold a proud **0% incident record** across our 15+ years of operations.
Every technician is suspended by two independent lines: a primary working line and a secondary safety back-up line. Each rope is anchored separately to structural building columns.
We only deploy technicians who have passed rigorous IRATA practical exams. Our projects are supervised on-site by a designated IRATA Level 3 safety coordinator.
Before a single rope is dropped, a comprehensive Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is completed. Ropes and structural anchors are tested and logged in our safety database daily.
Operations are instantly halted if sustained winds exceed 25 km/h (15 mph) or during active electrical storms, heavy rainfall, or poor visibility.
Ground-level exclusion zones are fully barricaded and monitored to prevent pedestrian access beneath overhead operations. Tool lanyards are mandatory for all gear.
Ropes are protected against sharp building edges using specialized edge protectors. Anchor nodes undergo annual pull-tests to verify their load capacity (min 15kN).
